Our Mission

  • Development of a competitive MBR

To develop a competitive and sustainable MBR with ceramic membranes, from raw materials, ceramic by-products and agro-industrial wastes.

  • Generation of high quality treated water

To generate treated water of equal or higher quality than that offered by conventional technologies for wastewater treatment.

  • Diversification in the ceramic industry

To enable the manufacture of ceramic membranes on an industrial scale in a ceramic industry.

  • Valorisation of agro-industrial wastes

To valorise waste products from different agricultural and industrial processes, such as olive pomace pastes (alperujo) or chamotte.

  • Manufacture of an eco-innovative product

To produce an innovative product that uses recycled materials

  • Costs savings in MBR applications

To develop a low cost recycled membrane, which will be optimal for MBR applications

  • Generation of environmental benefits

To regenerate a greater amount of wastewater to be reused, which at the same time represents a top-rated environmental benefit
