Centro Ceramico exhibits REMEB at Cersaie and Tecnargilla

  • Centro Ceramico di Bologna  participated with the REMEB project presenting its innovation in ceramic materials and technology both at CERSAIE and TECNARGILLA 2016.

CERSAIE 2016, one of the most important International Exhibitions of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings opened its doors from 26th to 30th September 2016 in Bologna, Italy. This 33rd edition gathered about 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 different countries. Their professional profiles came from multiple sectors such as ceramic floor and wall tiles, non-ceramic flooring and wall-covering products, sanitary installations, bathroom furnishings, fireplaces, ceramic stoves, tiled kitchens, raw materials, equipment for ceramics, materials and tools for installation, showroom displays for ceramic products, forwarders/shipping agents, technical press and specialized websites.

The attendance was of more 100,000 national and international visitors from 170 different countries. Architects, interior designers, representatives, dealers and installers will meet at CERSAIE 2016 looking for the newest and most advanced products and services.

The REMEB project consortium counted on the representation of the CENTRO CERAMICO, the Italian ceramic research centre, at CERSAIE 2016 where they explained the project’s features and progresses to interested visitors.

CENTRO CERAMICO was also present at TECNARGILLA 2016, which is the world’s biggest event of technological innovation and aesthetics for tiles and bricks, hosting the major producers of technologies for tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, colours and decorations. The event, taking place also from 26th to 30th September at the Expo Centre of Rimini, Italy, covered around 80.000 m2 of exhibition space and hosted over 500 exhibitors coming from 20 different countries. More than 30000 visitors, 15000 of them foreigners attended the event.

REMEB eco-friendly ceramic membrane bioreactor, which will be manufactured following the ceramic tile manufacturing process, was present at the exhibition space of Centro Ceramico, leading research centre on ceramics and new technology for this material.
