ITC-UJI promotes innovation with REMEB project at FERIA DESTACA 2016
ITC-UJI exhibited at Feria DESTACA with the REMEB project, from 23-25 November 2016 in Vila-real, Spain.
DESTACA is the first fair for scientific and technological knowledge transfer of Valencia Region and it is already a reference in Spain. Biennial, this edition took place from 23 to 25 November in Vila-real (Castellón, Spain) with the participation of over 100 companies, research centres and institutions.
The main objective of the fair is to achieve improvements in the quality of products and processes, and also generate concerns facing the industry diversification; promoting the encounter between researchers, technicians and entrepreneurs, enhancing University-Business and national and international research centres relations.
This year the attendance assessment has been very positive accounting for around 5000 professional visits and 2500 students during the three-day event.
ITC-UJI was present at the fair through an informative booth where they provided visitors with information about REMEB (Recycled Ceramic Membrane Bioreactor) project.
Furthermore, Sergio Mestre, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department at UJI, delivered a paper on ceramics with environmental applications where REMEB was presented. His conference took place on 23rd November from 15.00h to 16.00h.
General public or professionals interested in learning about the project also had the opportunity to ask for B2B meeting with REMEB and ITC-UJI technicians through during the event.
