FACSA presents REMEB at the EPSAR technical workshop on wastewater treatment

  • The firm has given a presentation of REMEB project on the application of new technologies to the water sector.

Castellón, 4th November 2016 – FACSA has participated in the technical conference ‘New technologies applied to the sector of wastewater treatment’ organized by the Valencia Region Public Entity of Wastewater Sanitation (EPSAR) with the collaboration of the Master Of Environmental Engineering of the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia that was held on Thursday, 3rd November.

The conference, which was opened by Elena Cebrián, Councillor for Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development of Valencia Region, brought together leading firms in the sector to share the latest technological developments in strategic technical aspects as well as the operational, economic and environmental benefits that could be achieved.

Jose Guillermo Berlanga, Head of R&D Area at FACSA made a presentation of REMEB H2020 project, delivered as the paper titled “Tandem Water-Ceramics. Low-cost ceramic membranes applied to water treatment”, in the programme of block II ‘Application of new technologies to water sector”

It should be highlighted that the programme was organized around the following seven blocks: phosphorus recovery, application of new technologies, anaerobic treatments, sludge treatments, removal of emerging pollutants, technological developments and new tools. Experts in the water field shared their knowledge as a result of their experience and research work.
