REMEB participates in the XXXIV Technical Sessions of AEAS (Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation) in audio-visual format

The low-cost and eco-friendly MBR was presented in the yearly conferences of the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS). The sessions were held from 24th to 26th May 2017 in Tarragona (Spain), a place with a special relevance for the water sector since it holds el Puente del Diablo, one of the most important Roman waterworks preserved in Spain.
The AEAS Technical Conferences are the main Spanish forum for water professionals on issues related to the integral water cycle. They are organised by AEAS and this time were hosted by the Water Municipal joint company of Aigües de Tarragona (EMATSA), counting on the collaboration of the Consorci d’Aigües de Tarragona (CAT).
This year, as a novelty in the programme, there was an audio-visual room where documentaries and videos of communication and initiatives were displayed. REMEB project, which envisages enabling a sustainable membrane bioreactor from low-cost ceramic materials, in order to optimize the results of the wastewater treatment and reuse process, participated in this format.
