Universidad Antonio Nariño introduces REMEB project to Bogota’s Water Public Company

The Colombian Project Partner Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN) met the Bogotá Water Public Company, provider of water services and sewage and rainwater drainage in the capital of Colombia for more than 100 years, to introduce REMEB project features and study the potential of implementation in WWTP in the city. The proposal seemed interesting to them and further information was requested to know about REMEB membrane bioeactor capacity to treat fresh water for human consumption. Although this public institution had not considered the use of this kind of technology in their facilities, they are planning a new waste water treatment plant for Bogotá city and REMEB innovation will be a treatment system to be taken into account.
