UAN participates with REMEB at the SUNN MeetUp in Bogotá, Colombia

Last Friday, May 26, Dr Sc Javier Rincón, from Universidad Antonio Nariño participated with REMEB project at the Sunn MeetUp session in Bogotá.
The SUNN MeetUp event, linking business offer and demand, took place in the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá. In this space of three hours, research groups from the universities of the region, entrepreneurs, investors, innovation managers and representatives of companies of great recognition at national level had the opportunity to know the benefits of connecting with each other, as suppliers and demanders of technologies, through the SUNN platform, a scenario that makes possible the co-creation of solutions to face the challenges of the future.
This SUNN MeetUp was developed as a Pre Open Innovation Summit Colombia activity, the largest innovation event in the country to be held in Bogota on October 18 and 19.
These sessions are held in cities that are linked to the strategy of the Covenants for Innovation and aim to strengthen the offer of technological innovation of universities to connect their initiatives with the demands of innovation of companies that are given through the platform. Five research groups and five entrepreneurs presented to different actors as entrepreneurs and investors their innovative technologies that represent a great business opportunity in the country.
The session for Bogotá and Cundinamarca, organized by Ruta N, Colciencias and Connect Bogota; Who leads Innpacto for Innovation, was attended by 80 people from the capital’s innovation ecosystem, including researchers, investors and representatives of leading innovation companies in Colombia.
The REMEB was represented by Dr Sc Javier Rincón from Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN), who participated in the event with an elevator pitch.
